Design Changes
Convert barding to use Musicianship for the "chance to hit" skill rather than P/P/D individually. Check against a mobs MR. Instead, use the skill level of P/P/D to determine/scale:
- Effectiveness
- RANGE!
- Duration
- Reduce failure significantly
- The change to Musicianship for skill check should allow players to have more variable use of the 4 skills in much the same way combat skills are used, however, please also introduce some minimum and maximum chances like we have added for melee.
- Introduce exciting alternatives that reduced at higher skill rates
- Offset Provocation with a chance for the mobs to break out of the fight and target the bard.
- Offset the Discord with a chance for a "bless" if/when the peacemaking cancels
- Offset peacemaking by causing the mobs movement speed to increase after it wears off.
- Mana Cost & Skill Delay
- Implement mana costs for the skills
- Reduce the skill delay
