The Great Northern Army

The current rulers of Kraestret and Miðrvegr have formed an alliance for the purposes of protection and the promotion of culture. They believe that Kraestret's Slavic-Germanic influence is a proper partner to the Nordic traditions of Midrvegr and have found allies to rely on. The alliance is ruled by a council of estate owners and overseen by Queen Daciana of Kraestret.

Philosophies

"Either you're with us, or you're against us." Those of the North have a strong solidarity with one another, and care little for those not fortunate or wise enough to call the North home. There is a distinct thread of ruthlessness running through both cultures that make up the Northern folk, and while not as a whole overtly aggressive, they can quickly become so if they perceive any threat to their lands or people.

Membership Target

Any who currently, or wish to, live in either Kraestret or Miðrvegr are welcome, regardless of race. Although not required, already doing so or a willingness to convert to worship of the Northern Pantheon, and Yrsa in particular, is highly... encouraged.

Deity

Midrvegr and Kraestrat share the worship of a triple goddess names Yrsa. Yrsa is the youthful battle maiden like one of the Valkyries, a strong power woman much like the White Witch of Narnia, and the crone in her guise as Yrsa-as-Hel. However, the two kingdoms have slightly different mythologies and related pantheons: Miðrvegr Religion and Kraestret Religion.
