Peredhil

Like the Frem, the Peredhil would develop during the Thorn King Era as their elven ancestors, the Noldorians, were housed secretly by the human Dúnedain. The two people, long in alliance with each other, would find more and more of their people marrying across the racial line, something that before had only been rare. The new people would call themselves Peredhil, "half-elven" in secret and eventually just "Dorians" in public. They do not live as long as their Aelfeyn ancestors and have a somewhat heavier bone structure. Yet they retained their dark-hair and talents in lore and smithcraft while losing much of their overly pale skin and pointed ears. In fact, they would become excellent trackers and rangers often called "wood elves" by those being pejorative.

The Peredhil, or Dorians, are one of the dominant races in Emlyn.
