The Daeves are one of the most mysterious of the Aelfeyn Races on Sanctuary. Their history can be found in Volume 1.1, The Aelfeyn of Andus. In modern times, a handful of pure-blooded clans have emerged from the deep desert and southern continent to made contact with the humans of Andus and their Aldaayiein descendants. The Daeves of today suffer from a low birthrate and many have sought to find first and even second wives around the Aldaayiein. Such interest has been well met, as the Aldaayiein also hope to strengthen the magical gifts of their own diluted bloodline.
