There are five Kingdoms. The setting of the world is from a time period where kings rise and fall within years. Each kingdom will have a great house which is currently on the throne. There may then be another 1 to 3 Great Houses per kingdom which will be able to play RPCSS, competing for the individual thrones or control of the whole world. Banner houses will be fictional and will not play in RPCSS.

Kingdom of Miðrvegr (Capital Åndalstad)

- This kingdom's occupants are dedicated to the acquisition of power and privilege, their focus is on the future. They often fail to pay attention to what is going on in the present as they plot and plan for the next turn of politics.

- This kingdom is about bringing history into the present so as to gain more knowledge and greater wisdom, they are also interest in tradition, but only where it has grown and become mature.

Noble Houses
Sanctuary's primary story line is designed around land-based conflict between Noble Houses. We use a custom web-based game tool called RPCSS to manage the armed conflict, allowing the primary story arcs to be completely player-driven.
